MY PHILOSOPHY
I believe in natural, simple, clean, organic, classic portraiture, a style that focuses on your beautiful baby. I don't use a lot of "crazy props". Some of my favorite images have no props at all. Just baby.
100% beautiful on their own. This way, they don't get lost in the image. I do have simple props available at the studio, hats and headbands and lots of textures that I like to use. Newborns often look most beautiful naked, or just with a hat, headband or wrap. Newborns are beautifully perfect...just as they came.
SESSIONS
Sessions take place in my natural light studio located just off the 403 in Brantford Ontario. Sessions are booked Monday to Friday at 10:00 am. Maximum of 5 newborn sessions per week. To guarantee a spot with me, please book your session 2-3 months before you are due. However, if you have not pre booked your spot, please contact me, I may have last minute openings to accommodate you.
Newborn sessions are best done within 5-21 days after your baby is born. At this age they are still sleepy and we can get those tiny curled up poses, and if we are lucky, some dreamy smiles! After this age, they don't sleep as deeply, often don't like being moved around into different positions and start to lose that "newness" or "curliness" that you see in the images on my site. If you have an "older newborn" please still reach out, we can still create beautiful images of your new baby.

NEWBORN MINI wrapped SESSIONS
Perfect little sessions for those just wanting a handful of images. Baby stays wrapped and happy. Mini sessions are intended to be short and sweet with images of baby only,
Usually lasting 30-45 minutes.
You select your favorite 1-2 colours for the session. Online ordering gallery for you to select your favorite images.
THE STUDIO
My studio is stocked full of the best newborn props from around the world, made by the most talented newborn prop specialists, in almost any colour you might want!
Its warm and relaxing, perfect for your little one to stay in dreamland.
Take this time to sit back relax and watch some T.V,
while I capture beautiful images of your new baby.
Studio is closed on weekends and holidays.
NEWBORN FULL
SESSIONS
Full sessions are perfect for those wanting a bigger session
with more images. Full newborn sessions include multiple setups, with naked poses, wrapped poses, props, and family shots if desired. Sessions usually lasting 2 hours. You select your favorite 2-3 colours for the session. Online ordering gallery for you to
select your favorite images.
